NYFIX Adds Global IOI Platform

 Bob Moitoso

NYFIX
has completed the integration of its global IOI platform called ioinet. The IOI network was created when NYFIX purchased FIXCITY, a European firm that provided this service in April. The offering combines NYFIX’s IOI service with FIXCITY’s to form the global platform. ioinet will offer global IOI data and has an all markets button that allows traders to view a single security across all of the markets they have permission to see and effectively manage their IOIs, said Bob Moitoso, head of the FIX division. Traders can view IOIs next to 12 months of historical advertised trading data; IOI alerts are flashed on the screen. Users of the service pay per counterparty that they are connected to rather than per message.
